Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between Rigid and Stretch Denim?

Rigid denim is made from 100% Cotton (often Organic in our case). It has no stretch, holds its shape well, and feels vintage. Stretch denim includes 1% to 3% Elastane (Lycra), making the jeans form-fitting and comfortable for all-day wear.

How do you handle denim shrinkage?

Denim shrinks significantly during the washing process. Om Cottons performs shrinkage tests on every roll of fabric before cutting. We adjust the patterns accordingly so that the final product reaches you at the exact correct measurements.

Can you manufacture "Raw Denim" jeans?

Yes. Raw denim (Dry Denim) is unwashed fabric. We manufacture the jeans and skip the industrial washing stage, delivering them in their pure, deep indigo state. This is popular for premium markets.

Do you offer sustainable/organic accessories?

Yes. Since we focus on Organic Cotton, we also offer sustainable trims like Recycled Polyester thread, Nickel-free buttons, and Jacron (paper) patches instead of leather to make the product vegan-friendly.

Why is the MOQ higher for jeans than T-shirts?

Jeans require industrial washing in large drum machines. It is difficult and costly to wash very small quantities (like 10 pieces) effectively. Therefore, an MOQ of 100+ ensures the washing process is consistent and cost-effective.
